This is just a shoutout to the Two Roads Theater in Studio City for their regular sponsoring of nude entertainment. It is a source of fellowship within the nudie community. As you can see from their FB page, they primarily hold clothed theatrics but every few months we get to let it all hang out.
I’ll probably be up doing open mike. It doesn’t have to be comedy. I am torn between Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet or Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera.
And here is another shoutout, this one to Nude Art LA. I am going to try to do a one-man show, a monologue based on the very first blog I ever posted, Don’t Mess with Grandpa. Performers get to be nude but patrons have to wear a little something. Been there a once before with wife, daughter, and friends but haven’t performed.
It should be a lot of fun!

We are nudists and been to dozens of performances at the Studio City theater. Unfortunately it is not the same crowd you would find at a nudist resort. It has become almost all men and I had a guy in the looking at me and my gf all night. Our husbands wanted to stop the guy but we didn’t want to cause a scene. When we spoke to the owner, there was no interest to help. It use to be a fun place but I don’t recommend it any more. That last time, we were the only women other than one woman performer. It was filled with loners who did not take care of themselves.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard or seen a nude theatre before. That’s pretty neat.

Indeed! I find them to be very interesting because I don’t know anything about it and I’ve never met people who are nudists. I enjoy them. It’s very enlightening. 🙂

And now you at least know one virtually. 🙂 You can tell from my avatar.
Probably not a typical nudist because I hate the label and all the baggage it carries. Ditto naturist. I’m just a nudie. It isn’t even an alternate sexuality. It is just that I take a lot more pleasure in being nude while a small number of people might think I’m depraved. There was a lot of pain about it growing up.

I don’t seem to be able to focus on one topic. I could do all anime or all nekkedness or all nature all biography or even all politics but I fear I’d soon lose interest. So I blog a bit of everything, even if it is occasionally NSFW. Blogging about being a nudie without ever showing anything is like blogging about vacationing in somewhere incredible but never including yourself in a picture because you were ashamed of how you looked. The whole point of being a nudie is that all parts are equal and elbows and noses and penises and nipples are equally OK to see.
I label some posts NSFW so the faint of heart will be protected from the perversion and horror. If people won’t follow me because of them, that is their problem. I’m here to tell my story and have fun, not to crank numbers.
Did you know that the official way to label something as “adult content” in WP is to post it and then report yourself to the abuse site? Bizarre.

I will call you a naturist from now on!! I never really viewed as depraved even though I know that is the typical thought process when people think “nudist.” I watched a documentary years ago and it talked about how it was all about self acceptance and gratitude. And the mental view behind it actually remind me a lot of Buddhism. I think it’s pretty neat. 🙂🙂
