My wife bought me this as a gift and I can’t wait to try some of the recipes.
Front and back covers.
Characters and the recipe photo gallery in the front of the book.
The interior uses B&W illustrations. Here is the table of contents and a sample illustration. They look better in the book than in the scan.

I have that sitting on my shelf! I’ve only tried a few recipes, but they came out fine. I’d be interesting in hearing how it goes when you try them out!

I’ve been eyeing this book for so long. How are the vegetarian options?

I didn’t see things broken out specifically as vegetarian but there are a number of recipes where I didn’t see any meat. Usagi ringo, onigiri, jagatama, oshinko, miso soup, udon, and several variations on the dango theme look like there is no meat involved.
Some people don’t consider fish or eggs to be meat. That would open up the possibilities.
